Though most people know me as a performer, I think of myself first and foremost as an educator. Music education is the real motivation for why I do what I do. I believe that music should be and can be more accessible to all people.

My primary goal is to eradicate the myth that some people are simply “non-musical.” We are all musical, and anybody can learn to play music. Yes, even you.

My primary teaching philosophy is simple: The more time you spend playing music, the better you will become at it.

Hey, I said it was simple, right? So, to put it another way, my job is to make music fun and approachable so that those engaging in music education for the first time find it enjoyable rather than intimidating or tedious.
