Hey everybody!

Thank you all so much for an amazing summer filled with both of my favorite things: making friends and singing songs.

I’ll be gone from August 26th to September 2nd so all shows between those dates are canceled. All, that is,except for Tuesday the 31st at Milagros — Tyleena, one of Portland’s best children’s singers / storytellers, will be filling in for me that day and you don’t want to miss it!

While I’m in Alaska, I will do my best to write some new songs and record some videos. Be sure to check my facebook page for videos, and become a Facebook friend of Mr. Ben’s while you’re there just by clicking “Like”.

Calvin has been taking guitar lessons with me for about a year. This video was shot at the Chief Joseph talent show in April 2010 when he was 7 years old. Calvin is an exceptional guitar player and a very cool person. He excels at guitar because he enjoys it so much and plays all the time.
